Harry

Harry is a Rhesus Macaque who has been retired from research. He arrived at Mindy's in 2008.

When Harry was released into his new home he had never seen grass or trees or smelled the fresh air. He had been a prisoner in a 3x3 metal cage for years. Harry leapt out of his airline crate and put his feet on the grass for the first time and then bolted to the top of the cage. He did not understand what that soft green stuff was! Harry sat atop the metal cage for over a month before venturing down to earth. Now he loves to eat the grass, play in water puddles and pick leaves from the trees shading his enclosure.

Harry really enjoys meal time. When he sees the food cart coming, he calls out to all of the monks as if to say, "Food is coming!, food is coming!"
