VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Mindy's Memory is always looking for responsible volunteers! Volunteers must be in good physical shape and be over the age of 18

We do ask that volunteers donate time Monday through Friday only. Occasional special Saturday days are scheduled. Announcements for special work party days are posted to our page

Many jobs are available from mowing and tree trimming to cleaning cages and cleaning our Care Center.

Items to Donate

The Sanctuary is always in need of the following items:

• Buckets and pails

• Dust pans

• Used Sheets

• Used Towels

• Used Blankets

• Yards of fleece material

• Toys - for dogs or children

• Pens/pencils

• Envelopes

• Gift cards to Wal-Mart, Office Depot or Target

• Rolls or books of postage stamps

• Bleach (gallons)

• Mean Green or Simple Green cleaner (gallons)

• Clorox Clean-Up bleach cleaner

• Bulk dry goods, including: rice, oats, pasta, cereal, raisins, trail mix, nuts in shell, peanut butter, honey, Gatorade powdered drink mix, graham crackers, crackers, pretzels, UNSALTED peanuts, popcorn for a hot air popper (not microwave!) produce donations by bulk; apples, oranges, sweet potatoes, green peppers, carrots (50 lb bags), pears, red potatoes (50 lb bags),romaine lettuce, bananas

• Bales of clean straw

• Wood chips (pine, not cedar - cedar causes a rash!)
